| Granny Run 20th April 2008 | 10 Marshals required for escorting 50 Goldwings with 50 grannies on the back. This will be a event and I feel that we should get as many markers/marshalls as possible in order to make this event successful. I am looking for our club to supply most of the riders, if you know the marker system and are a full member please let me know that you will be attending on the 20th April, if you can make the 13th for a practice run good, however not essential. | 11th May 2008 | 200 MPH Club/ Straightliners at RAF Woodbridge. An opportunity to safely and legally explore the acceleration and top-speed capabilities of your bike. You will be timed and recorded by accurate equipment on each run. You can run as many (or as few) times as you like, and you can be enthusiastic, or take it easy - there is no pressure. You will need leathers and you need to join the 200 mph club beforehand. If you don't want to participate, come along and watch. Bring lunch or decent food available there. Cost is about £50.00 to cover all of your runs on the day, or £10.00 to spectate. PLEASE NOTE: you will HAVE to be a member before to allow access to Woodbridge. For the second time this year we will be the guests of this club to have the use of two and a half miles of super-smooth runway and accurate timing equipment where we can explore the full performance of our bikes. You will need leathers and the day costs about £50.00 which includes your 200 mph club membership. If you don't want to enter, just come and spectate, it will cost you a tenner to become an associate member. Bring lunch or there are decent refreshments available at the event.
